Ambient Micro, Extending the Power of Autonomous Systems
Ambient Micro is developing ambient energy solutions to significantly extend the operating life of wireless devices and applications for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications. Current development efforts focus on extended power applications for:
  • Unmanned systems (UAV/Robotics)
  • Embedded and Distributed Sensors
  • Wireless Tracking and Locator Tags
  • Wireless Sensor Networks

Ambient Micro has developed a patent-pending Multi-Source Ambient Power Supply Technology that collects energy simultaneously from multiple sources including solar, thermoelectric, vibration, and ambient RF waves.

For many applications, this self-charging power supply technology can provide unlimited operating life and eliminate the need to replace or recharge batteries when battery replacement is impractical, costly, or dangerous.
