Ultra Long Life for Wireless Applications

Ambient Micro's Multi-Source Ambient Power Supply (MS-AMPS) technology significantly extends the operating life of wireless sensors and sensor networks.

Ambient Micro’s Multi-Source Ambient Power Supply (MS-AMPS) energy harvesting module simultaneously collects and converts ambient solar, thermal, and vibration energy to continuously recharge an on-module battery. By using energy harvesting to offset the daily battery drain rate, the Multi-Source Ambient Power Supply (MS-AMPS) module extends the operating life indefinitely and eliminates the need for battery replacement.  

Specifications

A baseline configuration the Multi-Source Ambient Power Supply (MS-AMPS) module demonstrates the capability to replace a primary battery for a broad range of 3V-4V applications, (i.e. primary Li-Ion cells, AA, AAA battery packs.)
